SENSITIVE SEOUL in Hannam-dong,
overlooking the Fussen alley — by A.mont

Wandering through a narrow path, you find yourself
surrounded by intimate, quietly charming homes.

At the edge of the corner sits a restaurant
whose presence alone feels sensitive
a space where the name already tells its story.

At first glance, SENSITIVE SEOUL in Hannam-dong
feels like a restaurant you might encounter
on a quiet corner of Füssen, Germany
defined by delicately detailed interiors
and a refined, atmospheric presence.

On one side, small glimpses of Seoul unfold
beyond a green-framed wall, while nearby,
classic wooden tables settle quietly into the space.

Within a space that feels in harmony with Sensitive Seoul,
music drifts through the room intoxicating in its own way,
even without a single drink.

The striking light fixture at the center of the space
reflects the owner’s thoughtful attention to every interior detail.

Between rows of neatly arranged glasses,
the chefs were busy preparing to fill the evening
with moments of happiness for their guests.
It was there that we had the chance
to meet the owner of Sensitive Seoul.

Sensitive Seoul takes its name from an image
that closely resembles the city itself —
Seoul can feel sensitive at times, complex at others,
and occasionally unfamiliar, yet always compelling.

When the space first opened, the owner admits
they never truly expected guests to find their way here.

When the very first guest walked in, the feeling
wasn’t so much gratitude or excitement,
but a quiet sense of disbelief How did they even know
about this place? was the first thought that came to mind.

The interior of this space is an ongoing challenge
one that never truly feels complete.

Even now, the owner continues to study art
and cuisine through social media,
exhibitions, and everyday inspiration.

Because it is not a professional background,
the process is filled with constant questions:

What will guests enjoy most?

What kind of music best complements
the atmosphere of Sensitive Seoul?

These considerations remain an essential
part of shaping the space, day after day.

The title of these artworks is Breath.

The editor believes these pieces resonate deeply
with Sensitive Seoul their layered compositions reflecting
the complexity and unfamiliarity of the city,
while the cool blue tones capture a quiet harmony
within Seoul’s ever-changing landscape.

Today, A.mont continues to share moments
of happiness alongside the people
who beautifully bring Sensitive Seoul to life.
