A neighborhood where past and present meet
Samcheong-dong, Jongno-gu, Seoul

Follow the side streets off Gyeongbok-gil,
and you’ll find a path where past and present coexist.

The chef in the photo is Chef Kim Kwang-sik,
one of Korea’s first generation of chefs trained in France.
HOAD is home to this chef, who has laid a solid foundation
for Western cuisine in Korea.

The restaurant, café, and gallery each exist independently,
giving the place such a unique character
that it could easily be called a village named “HOAD.”
