Berlin Kranz
Berlin Kranz is a compound name that combines Berlin
long regarded as a city of art and, more recently,
one of Europe’s leading trendsetters with
the German word “Kranz,” meaning laurel wreath.
At Berlin Kranz, talented young chefs, roasters,
and baristas work together as one team.
Bakery chefs with experience from renowned bakeries
both in Korea and abroad create healthy yet
refined breads and desserts.
In addition, professional baristas and roasters certified
by the Specialty Coffee Association of Europe (SCAE)
oversee every step of the process,
from green bean selection to brewing and beverage service.
Another strength of Berlin Kranz lies in the harmony
between its coffee, beverages, and food menu.
We craft our tiramisu soaked in espresso roasted in-house,
and our signature chocolate drinks are made
using the same premium chocolate used in our bakery,
earning great popularity among customers.
Every morning, freshly baked Brötchen, pretzels,
and caraway rye bread are prepared
and used to make sandwiches.
Our goulash, made by trimming all excess fat
from premium Australian beef and slow-cooking it
with freshly prepared tomatoes for over two hours,
is also one of our signature dishes.
While preparing for the opening, we visited Berlin in person,
exploring its bakeries and cafés to draw inspiration
and carefully shape every detail of the interior concept.
Our vision was to create a space that feels
comfortable and welcoming—like a neighborhood living room
where anyone can drop by and enjoy themselves.
Both the baking and roasting areas are designed as open factories,
allowing guests to experience the process up close
in a warm and approachable environment.
